Empowering You and Your Child

The Saturday SENCo was founded by a passionate and  qualified SENCo, seeking to provide an affordable home-based support service for parents and SEN children outside of the school environment. 

As a SEN Parent, our founder believes in the importance of Parent Mentorship, reflecting on the challenges she faced in the earliest points of her parenting journey.  Fast-forward 15 years, we now have a growing community of parents and educationalists with knowledge of the education system and processes. Our parenting community is diverse in its expansion, allowing us to serve appropriately, in terms of social and cultural sensitivities. As an inclusive movement, we offer access to a specialist panel of professionals and a resource hub with easy to read information.  In our quest, we are fast becoming the place of choice for both online and face to face support. Our recommendations continue to speak for themselves. And we remain steadfast in our mission, to create a safe and supportive space for families to overcome difficulties whilst building connections with others who understand their experiences. In our day to day activities, we complete pre-assessment screeners that provide indications of need, EBSA tutoring, advocate support for school meetings and Home/School planning for behaviour management strategies. We will also write reports that are referred to clinicians and a school based SENCO. For other bespoke services select a 1:1 consultation booking.
